3.7.0 Safe to install
The iMHere (Interactive Mobile Health and Rehabilitation) 2.0 system is an advanced self-care reminder and mobile health delivery platform currently under development at the University of Pittsburgh. This system aims to facilitate self-management by providing reminders for various health-related tasks, tracking pertinent health information, and establishing a communication bridge among clients, caregivers, and clinicians when connected to the web-based portal.
iMHere 2.0 offers flexibility in its usage; it can function independently as a reminder and tracking system or be utilized alongside the caregiver-specific application (iMHere Caregiver) to enhance oversight of adherence to reminders and monitor health-related concerns. Moreover, integration with the internet-based clinician portal enables more comprehensive functions, including the delivery of care plans, tracking and addressing medical issues, as well as telehealth communication.
The modular design of iMHere allows users to customize their experience by selecting specific features that suit their needs. When connected to the portal, the app unlocks additional functionalities that are otherwise unavailable, such as messaging between clinicians and clients, caregiver oversight and tracking capabilities, as well as alerts regarding low compliance with reminders or reported health issues.
At this stage, the app is accessible solely to individuals participating in a research study. For information on participation in this study, interested parties can visit http://www.imhere.pitt.edu/current-study/. Additional details about the iMHere system can be found on the website at http://www.imhere.pitt.edu/.
It is noteworthy that when the experience sampling feature is activated, data will be collected at every 10 meters of movement. This location data will be utilized to tag reports submitted to the server, thereby supporting location-based services. However, continued use of GPS in the background may significantly impact battery life.
